Tom Cruise is reportedly upset over news that Jamie Foxx is dating Katie Holmes. The Mission Impossible actor is allegedly jealous of former wife's relationship with the actor.
The pair recently went public with their romance, after dating for many years. The 49-year-old actor and the mother-of-one were spotted holding hands while strolling the beach in Malibu on Labor Day.
A source told Hollywood Life: "Tom has known about Katie and Jamie's secret relationship since the beginning and it has always bothered him that they were hooking up."
"While Katie and Jamie did their best to keep things a secret from the world, Tom is too well-connected and found out about them shortly after their romance began," the insider shared.
"Tom is shocked and upset that Katie is dating a costar he once considered a close friend. He feels betrayed by both of them," the source shared.
Holmes had filed for divorce from Cruise on 28 June 2012. Even though the reasons were not revealed in public, reports started making rounds that it had to do with Cruise's faith in Scientology as a religion.
The split came as a shock to thousands of fans who believed that the Cruise-Katie marriage was perfect in every sense. At that time, Larry Hackett, managing editor of People magazine, called this the biggest celebrity story in two or three years, excepting the sudden death of Whitney Houston.
