Gallup Korea has released the top 10 most favourite Korean TV shows for October.
The polling company, which has been tracking Koreans' favourite TV programs since January 2013, made a survey among 1,004 respondents aged 19 and above from October 17 to 19.
For the first time in four months, JTBC talk show "Ssulzun" came first with 6.1 percent and dislodged popular variety show "Infinite Challenge" from the top spot.
The show, hosted by Kim Gura, Rhyu Si-min and Park Hyung-jun, discusses hot political and social issues.
"Ssulzun" tied for first place with "Infinite Challenge" in June and slid to second in July, August and September.
"Infinite Challenge," starring Yoo Jae Suk, Park Myeong-su, Haha, Jeong Jun-ha and Yang Se-hyung, fell to second place with 4.5 percent, the first time that it got a rating of less than 5 percent since January 2013.
The program lorded over the survey since April this year but the general strike at TV channel MBC that started in September affected its performance as special episodes were aired.
It was reported that "Infinite Challenge" will resume filming for new episodes but its producer-director, who joined the strike, denied it.
Tied for third place with 4.3 percent are MBN's "I Am a Natural Person" and KBS1's drama "The Rose of Sharon has Bloomed."
SBS' reality TV program "Mom's Diary-My Ugly Duckling" grabbed fifth place with 4 percent followed by the MBC drama "Return of the Lucky Pot" with 2.9 percent.
Reality TV show "Three Meals a Day" and KBS2's drama "My Golden Life" tied for seventh place with 2.8 percent. Tied for the ninth place are KBS2's "2 Days & 1 Night" and JTBC's "Knowing Bros."
Placing 11th to 20th are "The Its Know," "Temperature of Love," "Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 -You Are My Destiny," "Running Man," "While You Were Sleeping," "Let's Eat Dinner Together," "Outsider," "Witch at Court," "Welcome, First Time in Korea?" and "Sweet Enemy."
