Maroo Entertainment trainee Park Ji-hoon is now a member of South Korean boy band Wanna One. A video of the artist has been released where he personally thanked his fans for supporting his journey so far.
Website Soompi notes that on June 19, Maroo Entertainment, which manages Park Ji-hoon, shared a video of the newest Wanna One member where he is seen and heard thanking a lot of people, including his fans.
"Thanks to the national producers, I came in the high ranking of second on 'Produce 101 Season 2.' I would first like to really express my gratitude and since you voted and placed me in second, I will take more responsibility and work harder," Park Ji-hoon began saying.
Addressing his fans he said, "I felt a little shy about saying this out loud, so I wrote it on a piece of paper" which read, "Fans are saved in Ji-hoon's heart," a cute phrase he used frequently on "Produce 101 Season 2."
Soompi also notes that the artist's agency, Maroo Entertainment also posted a message of their own, which read, "We send our sincere thanks to all the national producers that gave lots of support and love to Maroo Entertainment trainee Park Ji-hoon.
"Maroo Entertainment and trainee Park Ji-hoon will try our hardest now so that Park Ji-hoon of national idol group Wanna One (created by all of you) can be even better to give back for the warm support you have shown." The agency concluded their message saying, "Please give lots of support and love to Ji Hoon who will now greet you as idol Park Ji Hoon. Thank you."
Meanwhile, another artist who used to be a trainee in 'Produce 101,' rapper Ha Min-ho, apologised to his fans for his past controversies related to sexual harassment. First of all, I sincerely apologise to everyone who was hurt by the recent controversy. I feel responsible for my improper behaviour so I am taking the time to reflect on my actions. I'm sorry for causing so much trouble," Ha Min-ho wrote on his Instagram page. It was alleged that he sexually harassed minors as well as his girlfriend.
