Ousmane Dembele will become the second-most expensive footballer of all time with a medical all that stands between him and completing a transfer to Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund, according to Bundesliga's official website.
It is a shrewd piece of business for the club, with the sum of €105m plus bonuses worth 40 per cent of the fee approximately ten times the amount Dortmund paid to bring the now 20-year-old to the Bundesliga from Ligue 1 side Rennes in summer 2016.

Dembele went on to have an outstanding debut campaign in Germany, scoring six league goals and providing a further 12 assists.
The season culminated in Dembele helping Dortmund lift the DFB Pokal in May, the first major trophy of his professional career, with the seven-time France international scoring the opener in a 2-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 20-year-old sealed his dream move to the Catalan side after the clubs reached an agreement, in a deal potentially worth €147m, as per Goal.
Goal revealed on Thursday that the young France international was on his way toNouCamp on a five-year contract after the sides reached an agreement.
The blaugrana outfit have confirmed a €105m initial fee for Dembele, with Dortmund to receive a further €42m in bonuses. The forward's release clause has been set at €400m.
The €222m received from Paris Saint-Germain for Neymar sparked the La Liga side's pursuit of Dembele and Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho in the close season, but they saw bids for each rejected.
He will arrive in Spain over the weekend to undergo a medical and sign his contract ahead of his official unveiling at theNou Camp on Monday.
He is the fifth signing Barcelona have made in the current window, joining Marlon, Nelson Semedo, Paulinho and Gerard Deulofeu.
Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde believes his side will benefit from Dembele's ability and attacking versatility, according to reports by the BBC.
"He's a player who guarantees an attacking threat, which is something we had lost and we badly need,"Valverde told a news conference ahead of Barcelona's game at Alaves on Saturday.
"He can play on either wing or through the middle, he gets forward a lot and is very technical. We expect a lot from him and we're very excited about him."
