The highly-anticipated tvOS 10.1 jailbreak is expected to be released soon, after a flurry of tweets from Kevin Bradley (aka nitoTV) started making waves on the internet. With the iPhone maker recently updating Apple TV to tvOS 10.1.1, it seems to be your last chance to downgrade the firmware back to iOS 10.1 as Apple is still signing the older firmware. On the contrary, if you are still running tvOS 10.0 or lower, you may upgrade your device to tvOS 10.1 before the signing window closes.
There has not been a single jailbreak released for Apple TV devices ever since Pangu rolled out tvOS 9.0 jailbreak last year. Consequently, it is up to third-party app developers like nitoTV to bring out some useful tweaks for the devoted fans of Apple TV.
