Girl group TWICE dislodged boy band BTS from the latest rankings of idol groups' brand reputation index.
The Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation released the results for May 2017 based on the analysis of 113.36 million pieces of big data from April 27 to May 28 based on media interest, communication index, community index and participation.
TWICE rose from third place in April to first in May with a score of 9.35 million followed by BTS with 8.03 million. BTS was No. 1 in the April rankings.
Girl group Lovelyz, which won their first ever music chart award on a Korean TV music show last May 16, rose to third place with a score of 5.38 million.
Black Pink of YG Entertainment came fourth with a score of 4.6 million followed by Seventeen, 4.15 million; Sechs Kies, 3.81 million; Laboum, 3.76 million; EXO, 3.52 million; Red Velvet, 3.2 million; and APink, 3.15 million.
