JYP Entertainment's TWICE and SM Entertainment's Red Velvet emerged as the most talked about Korean girl groups in December based on data analysis.
From November 7 to December 8, the Korea Institute for Corporate Reputation analyzed 59.74 million pieces of big data, down by 15.53 percent from November's 79.72 million. The results were based on media, participation, communication and community values.
TWICE grabbed first place with a total score of 9.02 million, a decrease of 13.84 million from November's 10.47 million. This is the third straight month that TWICE topped the brand reputation index.
Rival Red Velvet placed second with 8.98 million, rising by 79.5 percent compared to their November score of 5 million.
Third place is Lovelyz, garnering 3.78 million, an increase of 56.68 percent from 2.41 last month.
Black Pink bagged fourth place with 3.74 million, dropping by 14.85 percent from 4.39 million followed by EXID with 2.42 million, down by 25.74 percent from 3.27 million last month.
