Korean American singer, rapper and actor Eli had shocked his fans after he revealed he has been married for over a year in 2015. His wife has now revealed the hardships she went through to keep her life private as possible.
During the recent episode of Mr House Husband, she said: "I had to hide our marriage, pregnancy, and everything because it could've been harmful to my idol husband. Nobody could know."
"I couldn't go to the obstetrician/gynecologist while pregnant so I couldn't look at the ultrasound. I had to examine myself and check that my baby is alive with a pregnancy test at home. At the time, there were a lot of risky situations because my health was so poor. I was afraid that something bad might happen to my baby. I think my husband knew about my struggles and revealed our marriage and pregnancy through social media while I was asleep," she added.
The couple welcomed their first child together on 7 June 2016. The 26-year-old member of South Korean boy band U-KISS added: "Our son Min Soo saved me as a man, a husband, and a father. If it wasn't for Min Soo, my wife and I wouldn't have been able to make it here."
