Get them hooked. If they like it, they will buy it. Ubisoft brought quite a twist to the old formula of giving players a chance to try out a demo before getting the entire game. According to the Ubisoft blog, gamers will now get access a free three-hour trial of the full game on PS4 and Xbox One.

The gamers will get to try out all the game's features, including its seamless co-op and multiplayer. "You can dive into missions, get to know Marcus Holloway and DedSec, explore the Bay Area freely, infiltrate restricted areas with hacked equipment, wreak havoc with a friend in co-op, and get up to whatever open-world shenanigans your heart desires. Those three hours are yours to play whenever you want," Ubisoft says. That sounds like a fun ride.

The trial download, however, will be a little bit taxing as it requires a full download of the game, which is around 25 to 28 GB of storage space but there is a silver lining to it. If you like the game and decide to buy it your trial progress will get transferred to the full game, so you will not have to start from the scratch if you decide that it is a game worth spending your hard earned money on. You will, however, be able to start playing the first mission after you have downloaded around 12 GB.

You will not get to hold on to any achievements as they are not going to be made available for demos and trials on either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. Any achievements that you might have earned will unlock once you've purchased the full game on Xbox One.

You can easily get hold of this by searching for the game on the PlayStation Store or Xbox Live Marketplace, and choosing the "Try Free Demo" option on PS4 and "Play Trial" option on Xbox One to download.
