Vin Diesel has opened up about his feud with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. In August 2016, in an Instagram post, the 44-year-old actor praised Universal and his female co-stars for their co-operation while working on the film, Fast 8.
However, he revealed he is upset with some of the male actors, which includes Diesel, Jason Statham, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Kurt Russell, and Scott Eastwood.
During an interview with USA Today, Diesel said: "I don't think the world really realizes how close we are, in a weird way. I think some things may be blown out of proportion. I don't think that was his intention. I know he appreciates how much I work this franchise. In my house, he's Uncle Dwayne."
"I protect everybody including Dwayne. I protected Dwayne more than he'll ever know. And it doesn't matter. He doesn't have to know. But he appreciates it. He knows it. Dwayne has only got one Vin in his life. Dwayne Johnson only has one big brother in this film world and that's me," he added.
The film is set to hit theaters on April 14. The synopsis for the movie read: "Now that Dom and Letty are on their honeymoon and Brian and Mia have retired from the game—and the rest of the crew has been exonerated—the globetrotting team has found a semblance of a normal life. But when a mysterious woman (Charlize Theron) seduces Dom into the world of crime he can't seem to escape and a betrayal of those closest to him, they will face trials that will test them as never before."
