Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are all set to tie the knot this month in Italy, say latest reports. Over the past few month, Virat and Anushka have made several public appearances hand-in-hand, sparking rumours around their impending wedding and it seems that the good news is here.
India Today reported that the couple will be tying the knot in the second week of December this year. According to reports, the wedding will tentatively spread across four days starting from December 9 in Milan. Reportedly, the 29-year-old Indian skipper might leave for Italy for the wedding on December 7.
Sources said that Virat's friends and family have booked a place in Milan for the private ceremony. However, there is no news of any cricketer being invited as of now. It further added that the couple's friends will be invited to a reception on December 21, which will take place in Mumbai.
Reports also revealed that Anushka Sharma is likely to wear a bridal wear designed by fashion designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Last week, the eminent designer was spotted leaving the actress's house that eventually lead to such speculations.
Meanwhile, Anushka's publicist has said that she is not aware of any such plans. The publicist said that the 29-year-old actress is going on a break and the team is not willing to confirm anything in this regard. "There is absolutely no truth to it (rumours of marriage)," Anushka's spokesperson told Press Trust of India.
Although the lovebirds have repeatedly denied news of getting married anytime soon, speculations are that this high profile wedding may take place as Kohli has already asked for the rest before team India embark on the South Africa tour.
In December 2016, the reports of Virat and Anushka's wedding first broke on the internet. However, later all those turned out to be false.
The duo first met each other on the sets of a commercial and reports say that love blossomed between the two. Last year in an interview with India Today, Anushka confessed that marriage is on her agenda. "Obviously marriage is on the cards, but when, that I'm not sure of," the actress said.
