We Got Married has officially announced that it will be ending soon and recently wrapped up its last studio recording of the fourth season of the show.
On May 3, Park Na Rae posted a photo on her Instagram with a caption saying, "#We Got Married #Last recording #Sad #Park Mi Sun #Hwang Jae Sung #Yang Se Chan #Park Na Rae #Oh My Girl's Hyojung I'm still glad I got to spend a day with Yang Se Chan on 'We Got Married.'"
Though the final episode is set to air on May 6, the show will broadcast another special episode covering the virtual marriage of Choi Min Yong and Jang Do Yeon. The special episode will be aired later, on May 13.
At the end of the recording, host Park Mi Sun commented, "Nothing lasts forever, but it still feels empty whenever a show completes its final recording. The staff prepared a cake for us. I'm grateful for the warm farewells. I'm going to miss everyone."
But, according to Soompi, "the show will eventually be returning with another season." However, it is not yet known as to when the next season will air.
Mentioning about the special episode, the producer said in a recent interview, "I feel very sorry to end the show without showing much of Choi Min Yong and Jang Do Yeon's couple life. Many people think that they were casted in a hurry knowing that the show was going to come to an end. However, this is not true."
