West Ham United host Chelsea in London derby of the ongoing Premier League season on Monday night (Tuesday morning, Singapore time) at the London Stadium.
The Blues are heading into the game with a seven-point lead over their nearest rival Tottenham Hotspur with a game in hand and a win today will see them restore their original 10-point lead.
Antonio Conte's men bounced back from their FA Cup defeat to Wolverhampton Wanderers with a 3-1 thrashing of Swansea City with Cesc Fabregas, Pedro and Diego Costa getting their names on the scoresheet last Saturday. Despite being the runaway leaders this season, Chelsea's away form since the start of the new year has been a concern. Starting with a 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane, the Blues won at King Power Stadium but were held by Liverpool and Burnley on the road.
On the other hand, West Ham are eyeing a comeback into the top-10 of the league and they have done well in their recent league outings, losing only one of their last six games. Slaven Bilic's side, who are the 11th spot now, though would want to end their two-match winless streak and their side would be boosted by the return of striker Andy Carroll, who had missed the last two matches.
West Ham will have to take heart from their EFL Cup fourth-round win over Chelsea, which eliminated the Blues earlier this season but they have to be at their best to get another favourable result later today.
