Her latest single "Kuthu Fire" has impressed millions of netizens. Now, she is ready to bring the magic near you. Her Kuthu Fire Tour in India is scheduled for November 2017. In celebration of her song, the tour, taking place from November 17 to 26.
The tour, in collaboration with Radio Mirchi, is titled 'Mirchi Live with Vidya Vox –The Kuthu Fire Tour. The word 'kuthu', originally from the Tamil language, refers to their folk songs and traditional dance. The YouTube description of the song Kuthu Fire states that Vidya is paying a tribute to the dabankuthu songs that she grew up listening by creating this song with "extra party vibes."

Who is Vidya Vox?
Originally named Vidya Iyer, the singer and YouTube sensation was born in Chennai, India, and had been brought up in Virginia, US. She loved singing since her childhood and had been trained in Carnatic music. Vidya opened a channel on YouTube in April 2015, to try out her luck as a music artist. With producer Shankar Tucker, she has belted out more than 35 songs till date, including mashups, covers and original tracks. In just two years, she has gained global acclaim and won the hearts of millions.
Her mashup of Chainsmoker's Closer with Bollywood song Kabira made her a rage among the youth. She has also collaborated with other singers and YouTube personalities to churn out music videos that have wowed the viewers. Her original songs, though deviating from her usual style, give a new richness to her voice and music.
Her YouTube channel now has more than three million followers and more than 270 million views.
