Legendary rock and roll artist Tom Petty has died at the age of 66. He rose to fame in the 70s; as the lead of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. The group had several hits, including American Girl, Free Fallin; and Listen to Her Heart. The group was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002.
Emmy-award winner Julia Louis-Dreyfus revealed she has breast cancer. The Veep star shared the news with her fans on Twitter in note that also touched on the issue of health care.
Hugh Hefner, the founder of Playboy magazine and iconic frontman of the sexual revolution, died at his home, the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles on 27 September 2017. He was 91, and died of natural causes.
