Cyber security company McAfee has released its annual list of the most dangerous celebrities to search for online, with Avril Lavigne coming first. The firm found that people searching for the Canadian popstar have a 14.51% chance of clicking on a web page that carries a virus or malware. Bruno Mars, Carly Rae Jepson, Zayn Malik and Celine Dion complete the top five most dangerous celebs to Google.
The credit scoring company Equifax said that hackers accessed personal details of 143 million consumers between May and July. The intrusion is potentially one of the largest data breaches in the US on record.
Credit card data, passports, travel information and more of nearly half a million people were exposed. Security researchers discovered that the leaky database was linked to a leading Mexican tax-refund provider MoneyBack. The top passports identified were of citizens of the US, Canada, Argentina, Colombia, Italy, among others
