The mother of a former national table tennis player was given six weeks' jail sentence for trying to bribe the director of the Singapore Table Tennis Association (STTA).
The phishing mails contained spelling and grammatical errors and contained an offer of extra tokens if buyers made their purchase within 12 hours and the trick worked.
