NASA's Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) has discovered an Earth-sized, potentially habitable planet orbiting around a star in the range of distances
Astronomers from Columbia University may have found the first exomoon through the data collected by Kepler spacecraft and recorded data by Hubble telescope.
Scientists have found an exoplanet, twice the size of Earth and located almost 145 light years away but it has an extremely hot atmosphere as calculated.
Scientists said that as of now 3815 exoplanets have been discovered but Kepler 452bm or "Earth's cousin", now is known as the most potential candidate to support life.
Both these plants are capable of harbouring life as they probably have stable climates and regular seasons. The astronomers also believe that one of them is more or less similar in size as the Earth.
NASA to conduct additional GNC (guidance, navigation and control) analysis, and teams are now working towards a targeted launch of TESS on Wednesday, April 18
