Thousands of anti-Brexit protesters marched through London. The Peoples March for Europe took place two days before MPs vote on the withdrawal of the UK from EU law. The protesters believe the negative effects of leaving the EU are becoming more obvious. Liberal Democrat leader Vince Cable said people were worried about Brexits impact on the future.

270,000 Rohingya have fled from Myanmar to neighboring Bangladesh in the past two weeks. The ethnic minority is fleeing violence in Myanmars Rakhine State. Resources of aid agencies and communities in Bangladesh are strained. Villagers said they were told to feed the refugees and send them on to camps. Bangladesh is already caring for hundreds of thousands of Rohingya who previously fled discrimination in Myanmar.

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is currently building three much needed physical rehabilitation centers in Mali, Nigeria and the Democratic Republic of Congo, all of which are funded by the recently launched Humanitarian Impact Bonds. These work by gaining initial funds from private investors to build and develop the centers over a five year period. The ICRC then receives money from various governments and organizations depending on the success of this, which is in turn given back to the investors, ideally at a profit.
