He spoke on 30 May, before US President Donald Trump announced the United States would be leaving the climate treaty. Portland Police released a video on 1 June of a man suspected of stealing the wedding ring and backpack of Ricky Best, a victim of the 26 May Portland train stabbing. Best was one of two men fatally stabbed after they intervened when a man launched a racist rant at two women, one wearing a hijab, aboard a Portland Train.
