Is this New Yorks dirtiest apartment?

Manhattan superintendent Martin Fernandez posted a video of an epic apartment cleanup on YouTube. Thousands of cockroaches were crawling through the rooms and Fernandez even found the corpse of a dead cat. According to the superintendent, the former tenant began hording stuff two years ago. He was evicted out of the apartment after a one-year court battle. Fernandez said the smell in the apartment was so foul it came through his face mask.

The birds were released onto Austrias A1 highway on 4 July, after a truck carrying coops crashed. Around 100 firemen were called to the scene to remove debris and capture the chickens, causing a 10km traffic jam. The blockade was eventually lifted five hours later.

Huamelula Victor Aguilar, mayor of San Pedro, married the crocodile in a traditional symbolic ceremony on June 30. The ritual has been practised by the Chontal Indians since 1789, and is believed to bring about a good harvest. According to tradition, the crocodile is considered a princess.

Yang Niu the baby elephant was caught on video Thursday (June 29) sliding down a muddy hill.The footage was caught by her keeper from the Asian elephant breeding and rescue centre in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, located in southwest Chinas Yunnan Province.Yang Niu was sent to the breeding centre two years ago when villagers found her abandoned and injured in the wild.

Dashcam footage released shows police officer assaulting motorist

 This is the moment  Agent Joe Joswiak of the Buffalo Ridge Drug Task Force pulled over a motorist and assaulted him. An off duty police officer said Anthony Promvongsa was driving aggressively and called in Joswiak who pulled him over. The American Civil Liberties (ACLU) of Minnesota released dash camera footage of the incident on Thursday, June 23.Police have charged Promvongsa with various offenses, including two counts of assault with a deadly weapon and fleeing in a motor vehicle. The ACLU has called for an investigation into Joswiaks behavior and is working with Promvongsa and his criminal counsel.

Video Shows Aftermath Deadly Market Blasts in City of Parachinar

At least 15 people have been killed in twin blasts in the northwestern Pakistani town of Parachinar on Friday (June 23) according to government officials. The two blasts went off within three minutes of each other. People were at the market buying food for iftar, the meal breaking the fast in the evening during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. No group claimed responsibility for the Parachinar blasts.In a separate attack on Friday, at least 13 people, including seven police officers, were killed by a suicide car bomber in Quetta which is about 100 km (60 miles) east of the border with Afghanistan. Jamaat ur Ahrar, a splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban, claimed responsibility for the Quetta attack.
