Reports said that Tan also pleaded guilty to an unrelated charge of receiving stolen property of S$6,950 from anonymous sources linked to a police impersonation scam.
If convicted, a person who knowingly lives on the earnings of the prostitution of another person can be jailed up to five years and fined up to S$10,000.
If convicted of committing the offence, the suspect shall be punished with imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or a fine not exceeding S$100,000 or both.
If convicted of selling or distributing goods with falsely applied trademark, the suspects may be jailed for up to five years or fined up to a maximum of $100,000, or both.
