Take a VR look inside the brains pleasure centers

A new immersive VR experience now offers a unique way to visualize and interact with a brain. The system, developed by researchers from the Wyss Center for Bio and Neuroengineering and the University of Geneva, allows users to see the pleasure centres of a mouse brain. The system has been developed to help handle the huge volumes of data now produced by a new generation of high-resolution imaging techniques.

NASA tests supersonic parachute for Mars to be used in 2020 mission [VIDEO]

NASA has successfully tested a supersonic parachute which is meant to be used in its Mars 2020 mission. The parachute was launched on a Black Brant IX sounding rocket from its facility in Wallops Island, Virginia on October 4, 2017. It is undergoing further development and would be used in future Mars missions.
